We enjoyed a peaceful New Year's holiday at a small hotel near Ngwesaung. the hotel is located on an almost empty beach featuring only a few other hotels and fishermen's villages. the staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. the food was delicious, and we especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet and a la carte dinner. the hotel offered fantastic bungalows that were well, designed, airy, and spacious.
The location was quite far away from Yangon, resulting in a long and bumpy 7, hour drive. the hotel's power came from its own generator, which meant that free Wi, Fi was only available in the reception area and during specified periods throughout the day when the generator was running.

The furnishings were nice. It took 5 minutes to reach ngwe saung beach on foot. Stay there and enjoy your Pathein city trip. It takes 5 mins by foot to the bus stop...

The view from the room was breathtaking, with the beach and ocean just a few steps away. The location was also ideal, providing a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere for a relaxing vacation. the staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that our stay was enjoyable.
The rooms were in need of some renovation, with outdated furnishings and limited amenities. the language barrier was evident, as the level of spoken English was quite poor.

the location was absolutely stunning, with clear blue waters and coconut lined shores. the room I stayed in was spacious and clean, with good air conditioning. the staff were welcoming and provided good service throughout my stay. the breakfast offered was delicious, and I could enjoy it while overlooking the pool and beach.
I did notice that the lighting in the rooms was not great, and it felt quite dark at night.
